Here, there is no intensive farming or livestock production; this is a small-scale, community-oriented farm. Respect for the environment and the well-being of animals and people comes first, and everyone has their role to play. The sturdy Charolais cows provide the manure that enriches the fields, the local Roux Ardennais sheep graze the orchard, and the Malines cuckoos enjoy the worms left behind by the sheep and cows, after which they in turn fertilize the pastures. A delightful virtuous cycle. Moreover, each cow has a hectare of pasture, they reproduce naturally, and the calf stays with its mother after birth. The superior beef is therefore organic and 100% grass-fed.

Amidst all that rural bliss, surrounded by vegetables, flowers, and fruit, you’ll find a cabin for two: La Cabane du Potager. The perfect hideaway for anyone looking to unwind without sacrificing comfort. And if you get a taste for it, you can combine that weekend getaway with a one-day permaculture course. But you’re also welcome to relax in that freestanding tub or in the hot tub and cook up a storm in the charming kitchen with vegetables you’ve just harvested.
