That's why this XXL vacation home has 1 hectare of land and the building itself covers no less than 700 m². And all this in the beautiful, rolling Heuvelland, a stone's throw from the French border. The perfect place to unwind. And everyone can come along. Because Akkernest is not just wheelchair-friendly, this barrier-free holiday destination can easily accommodate no fewer than 12 wheelchairs. From the decking around the pond to the patio table and the sinks in the kitchen, everything is designed for wheelchair accessibility. After all, there is just as much to do outside as inside, and no one wants to miss out on all that fun. Dive into the pond, push your limits on the climbing frame, relax in the wiglo (a wigwam made of willow branches) or gather around the fire pit. You can also play a game of petanque, jump on the trampoline, spot frogs, or laze around on the sun terrace. And if it starts to drizzle, you can settle down on the covered terrace while the chefs of the gang man the barbecue corner. Pick extra aromas in the herb garden and easily store all the ingredients in the cold store. Want to really get away from it all or bring some extra people? Or create a reading corner for the kids? Book the gypsy wagon. A charming place to stay in the countryside with everything you need. From heating to a camping toilet. No expense has been spared inside either. The six bedrooms each have a mezzanine —so you can sleep together yet separately—and their own bathroom. The living room and kitchen are also particularly spacious.
