During peak season, you can rent Arneau by the week, from Sunday to Sunday. During the off-season, you can stay here for as few as 3 nights. That gives you plenty of time to explore Ostend. You can easily reach the city center by ferry; bike rentals are available upon request, and you can park your car for free in the private parking lot.
