And the silence and the panorama are just as delicious as the local products, the oven-fresh bread and the homemade jams. Here, in the Yser Valley, time is relative. The farmhouse dates from 1787, the outbuildings from 1930, and outside, the big nothing awaits. Green that you explore at your own pace and where you are always welcome, without appointment. Guests have access to a lounge with a bar, an open fireplace and a field view. Your own room or studio also has a lounge with tea and coffee making facilities and a private terrace. The studios also have two separate rooms. Large windows everywhere frame the landscape neatly. Those who want to see a different horizon can explore the 1.5-hectare garden. Terraces with lounge furniture and garden benches pop up here and there, good for yet other views. Will you install yourself near the old pollard willows with a view of the valley, where you can watch the horses, peacocks and chickens, or will you opt for the brand-new deck terrace near the IJzer?
