There are farm holidays and then there are Farm Holidays. B&B B’oerensteen falls into the latter category. Or farm tourism hors catégorie. Here you stay‘Bachten de Kupe’, hidden away in the fields on a farmyard that is part of the protected village view of Oeren. The walled farmhouse and the listed barn date from the18th century and are therefore protected monuments. Character in abundance, in other words. Or swim between Flemish history and with a view of the church tower of Oeren. Breakfast is served in the walled farmhouse. In winter, you can enjoy local products and homemade bread by the AGA stove, while in summer you can sit in the garden with a view of the water and the wild ducks.
Four suites were installed in the stable building, in the roof ridge, with the old roof trusses serving as impressive eye-catchers. Three of them have a mezzanine for accompanying children. The horse stalls are located on the first floor. Indeed, four-legged friends are also welcome to enjoy this superior farm life. Both your horse and dog can accompany you on this trip. It is an opportunity to explore the secluded Westhoek region together.
