About this place

Getting back to the essentials has never been easier. Because at Casa Essenza, located in Puglia—in the “heel” of the Italian boot —all the noise fades away, leaving only silence and beauty. This fenced-in estate is also surrounded by an endless landscape, home to a handful of gnarled, ancient olive trees and a young olive grove in full growth. Serene simplicity all around—making it the perfect place to truly recharge your batteries.

Here you live as much outside as inside so there are corners galore to find some shade or sun. Relax by the pool, read a book on the covered terrace, enjoy the evening sun in the comfy lounge area, install yourself in the old trullo, cool down in the bright kitchen or snooze in the uncluttered sitting area. The sand tones consistently used throughout create a delightful harmony that makes all spaces seem to flow into one another. The house also extends over one floor, so all bedrooms open onto the garden or pool. Swimming as soon as you wake up or cooling off under the outdoor shower before going to bed?

Nearby, less than a 20-minute drive away, beautiful Ostuni awaits, but also the world-famous trulli of Alberobello and the port hamlets of Polignano and Monopoli are less than an hour away. And the coast awaits less than half an hour away. The best of Puglia nearby, then. At least if you get away from this zen place.

We ❤️ the luxurious simplicity
