In the heart of the French Alps, an hour from Geneva, pops up the cozy village of Les Gets, one of the 12 ski villages that make up Portes du Soleil. With its 200 mountain elevators good for the largest ski area in Europe. Endless skiing from village to village so or do you cross through to Switzerland? And both as a cautious beginner and experienced off-piste adventurer you will find what you are looking for.

And in the midst of this natural beauty, on a mountainside that guarantees a unique panorama of the valley and the mountain peaks, Dennis and Lieve found their Chalet Roc Remi. The charming mountain village is 2.5 km away, but a free bus stops at the foot of the driveway. It takes you to the center in less than 5 minutes every half hour. Are you traveling by car? You can park for free at the ski lift, but you can also use the Roc Remi Navette. Dennis or Lieve will take you where you need to be in their Defender!

On the outside, the place exudes classic chalet vibes, but inside you'll discover a contemporary interior, a mix of custom furniture and vintage finds. With the wood-burning stove as the central gathering spot. Or would that honor go to the kitchen counter after all? Good to know, thanks to its privileged location, the large terrace serves up sunshine all day long. From breakfast to apéro. And on the flat area next to the chalet, you can both barbecue and lounge in the hammock.

Because there is also plenty to do here in the summer. Hiking, mountain biking, golfing, daredevils and leisurely hikers can enjoy themselves. And since Dennis and Lieve adhere to the freedom and happiness motto, this place can be booked both as a b&b and as a vacation home. And you choose how much, or how little, catering you want to do in the process. Handy!
