Through her architecture firm, Christine aims to build timeless homes that invite you to live life to the fullest. And she leads by example. In the Ardennes, you’ll feel right at home in her Chalet Bozy, which she brought back to life, and it’s no different in Morocco. Here, about 10 minutes from the medina in Essaouira, you feel that same warm, inviting vibe at Dar Bozy. Here and there, you even notice some similarities. This charming spot also features flagstones that adorn the delightful terrace.

Christine fell head over heels for the region and now runs one property after another there. So it’s no surprise that everything here is perfect down to the last detail. The five rooms are all picture-perfect, and each has its own charm. One moment you have a private terrace with a view of the greenery, or you look out over the pool; the next, you can opt for the family room with loft-style bunk beds. The color palette ranges from earthy tones to soft terracotta pink and everything in between. In the garden, the Light Brick Studio stands on its own.

Just as much attention was paid to the common areas. The large swimming pool is lined with luxurious lounge chairs, the spacious covered terrace ensures there’s always shade, you have access to a sheltered outdoor kitchen with an adjoining dining area, and anyone who wants to play a game can head over to the petanque court. Of course, you can also settle in indoors in both summer and winter. And on chilly evenings, the fireplace and underfloor heating provide some extra coziness.

Admittedly, it’s tempting to spend your days here, but keep in mind that you can go kitesurfing, horseback riding, and quad biking nearby. And the bustling city of Essaouira is just waiting for you to explore it.
