So one day you might be surrounded by barley and wheat swaying in the wind, and the next you might be treated to a panorama of potatoes and corn. Always 360° green. These fields gently merge into the lawn, which features a real sandpit and all kinds of swings. Suitable for toddlers and teenagers. The living room is housed in the former horse stable, the toilet used to serve as a cellar where illegal 'drops'were hidden, and from Pepé's room you can see curious deer grazing in the tall grass at sunrise. The oak tree that fell 50 years ago was given a new lease of life after years of patience as a staircase and bathroom furniture, proving that time always stands still a little in the Westhoek.
