It boasts its own castle, picturesque cobbled roads, endless meadows and fields, and a five-star vacation home: De Kleine Koning. It is no coincidence that it is located right on one of those typically charming country roads that wind through vast green landscapes.

Nostalgic village romance in abundance, then. Think twittering birds, wonderful peace that is only disturbed when a tractor passes and a rural garden with terrace, equipped with both a barbecue and an outdoor fireplace in which you bake your own pizzas.

Despite that rural idyll, this place is surprisingly contemporary thanks to a major renovation. The front has retained its authentic look, while at the back a sleek glass extension has been built that allows you to fully enjoy the garden. Black and white tones set the tone, but subtle color accents and cuddly materials soften the whole. Characterful beams pop up everywhere, both in the elegant lounge and in the 3 beautiful bedrooms. Each of these also has a bathroom, built in Mortex. Custom-made furniture and thoughtful details are everywhere. Cosy and relaxing. Literally, because breakfast can be delivered to your home on request.
