As soon as the gate of De Krekelberg in Brecht swings open, you find yourself in a domain that is unparalleled. At its center stands an imposing, sleek wooden structure with a pointed roof, surrounded by colorful, winding borders edged with Corten steel. Not a 5 cm border, but knee-high, so you can live among the flowers and enjoy them to the fullest. The Noorderkempen can be so southern.

Large windows overlook the horse pasture with surrounding greenery and the impressive pointed roof with windows up to the ridge is the icing on the cake. From the terrace, the sitting area or the dining room, you can watch the horses, bees fly in and out and you can relax effortlessly. And anyone with a green thumb will be delightfully inspired.

Inside and outside constantly blend together here so you are constantly in connection with that beautiful garden. Moreover, the interior is just as well thought out. Cosy gathering on the ground floor or retreating to the mezzanine to read a book, do some work or watch the rest of the company. The view of greenery is included everywhere.

And should you leave this little paradise anyway, you'll find the Brecht and Kalmthoutse heaths a little further on, or hop on the train to Antwerp or Breda? Fifteen minutes of track and you end up right in the city. Tranquility or ambiance, here you don't have to choose.
