For 20 years, Xavier and Sylvie ran their own interior design business, but their love for Andalusia —their regular vacation spot—continued to grow. Then one fine day, while traveling with their two teenage sons, Arthur and René, they stumbled upon a stately hacienda, and a new, different life began. Make no mistake, Hacienda El Tarajal is not just a special place to stay. It is their dream and life's work. Their 'heaven on earth' that we are lucky enough to experience.

Hacienda El Tarajal appears among rolling olive groves, in the middle of the unspoiled UNESCO geopark Las Subbéticas. And right in the famous triangle of Malaga, Córdoba, and Granada. Each of these attractions is just an hour away. And you don't even have to go that far. After a few minutes' drive or a few winding kilometers, you'll reach Priego de Córdoba, the baroque hometown of this boutique B&B and one of the country's most beautiful towns. Surrounded by the imposing Las Subbéticas, it offers charming alleys, cozy tapas bars, and authentic markets. Spain as you really want to experience it.

Back at your accommodation, you can enjoy the peace and serenity that reigns here, as this adults-only place sets the age limit at 12 years. Ideal for those who don't like the noise of the pool. So, recharge your batteries and in between, pet Maurice the Labrador or follow the example of the cats of the house, who stretch out in the sun.

There are 2 rooms, 2 suites, and 2 studios, each equipped with fine linens, a lovely ensuite bathroom, soft bath towels, cozy bathrobes, and every possible comfort. From a coffee machine and underfloor heating to bed linen and towels that are changed regularly. One moment you are enjoying the impressive view of the Sierra Zagrilla from your French balcony, the next you are settling down on your private terrace, and the Tower Suite, located at the highest point of the hacienda, offers an unforgettable 180° panorama.
