This story begins in the 1970s. Georgette and Etienne purchase this stately mansion in Izegem, featuring a large entrance gate that leads to the brush and shoe factory. Their grandsons Rik and Yves enjoy a blissful childhood there. Many decades later, Yves and his wife Virginie decided to renovate Marraine and Pépé's house and open it to the public. And so the mansion was transformed into a B&B, restaurant, wellness center, and breakfast bar. Contemporary and yet full of nostalgia. In addition to the four standard rooms, the Marraine Suite stands out. A paradise for families, it spans two floors. The children sleep upstairs and access it via the climbing wall and rope. Excitement and thrills guaranteed. In the morning, they whizz down the slide to land right in the play corner. Even more fun! Meanwhile, the parents can enjoy the spacious bath, count stars in the shower, or warm up in the infrared cabin. There's plenty of room, too, with space for five people.

Enjoy lunch or dinner in the atmospheric restaurant, followed by some relaxation in the private wellness area. With a heated swimming pool, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, ice scrub machine, hammam, and terrace with jacuzzi. And no, you don't need to bring your bathrobe. Everything is provided, from towels to tea. Of course, you can also order tasty extras. After all, the Herenhuis offers a wide range of packages. You can relax in the old-school living room. An aperitif, a game of billiards, or a board game? Here, choosing is never losing.
