Sometimes you need a little patience. Sabine had been in love with the old farmhouse on her street in Haringe, in the heart of the IJzer region, for half her life when it suddenly and unexpectedly came up for sale. Just when her beloved daughter took over their own farm. So the puzzle pieces fell into place and Het Klaverhof was born. It makes sense, because here you live like a king, with the border meandering lazily just two fields away. But first, there was a lot of hard work to be done. The whole building was dismantled, stripped back to its imposing, centuries-old skeleton, and then gradually rebuilt. Stone by stone, by craftsmen who took great pleasure in using materials that had been lying around on the farm for generations. As old as possible, as new as necessary.

The couple chose timeless, authentic, high-quality materials without hesitation. It was a carefully considered puzzle that took three years to complete. Today, you step into a particularly cozy cocoon where everything fits together perfectly. From the cheerful flower meadow to the many magnificent beams and sturdy sliding doors to the fascinating views. What's more, there's plenty of space, even if you're with a whole gang. Gather on the terrace, play tag in the meadow, splash in the pond, or shelter from the rain in the former stable, where a pool table, foosball table, and dartboard await. But first, catch up at that lovely table and enjoy all the beauty that surrounds you.
