It is no coincidence that Jachthuis Au Bois du Gheer is located on the edge of the forest in Ploegsteert. After all, this is an authentic, restored country house. Close to the French border, elegantly nestled between the rolling hills of the Westhoek and the flat fields of the Leie region. For years, French nobles gathered here to hunt in the adjacent forest. And since these nobles always traveled with a large entourage, there is still plenty of space and rooms here today. And there are still no neighbors.

Good for a really long dining table, a robust kitchen and the necessary nooks to fraternize. Cards, billiards, chilling in the greenery and gathering around the stove, it's all possible. The rooms unpack with sturdy trusses and authentic brick walls. Something for everyone and thus the place for families.

The large enclosed garden has picnic benches as well as a lounge area and beach chairs in the grass. Extensive aperitifs, dinners but just as well eat an ice cream on bare feet. And the little bugger can push his limits on the play tower with slide. In half an hour you end up both in Ypres, Kortrijk and Lille.
