Between Marseille and Nice lies the Provençal village of Tourtour. One of the most beautiful villages in France, it is also known as'le village dans le ciel' (the village in the sky) thanks to its location on top of a hill. This is la Provence Verte, the greenest part of Provence. This is where Olivier and Bieke lost their hearts and where the couple of passionate landscape architects built La Pause with their own hands. A very special vacation home that immediately impresses. Thanks to its sophisticated architecture, local materials, magnificent views, and warm, minimalist style that the couple made their own and that also characterizes their gardens. Or pure lines softened with Mediterranean twists.

The grounds cover some 3 hectares, the property is surrounded by an olive grove and a promising private road sends you up through the greenery. Once you arrive, your expectations are effortlessly met. Because wherever you are, in the garden, by the pool or in that wonderful living space, everywhere you are served views of the surrounding greenery and the Massif des Maures. Outside and inside intertwine so you're chilling by the biopool one moment, then a little later on the covered terrace taking advantage of the outdoor kitchen (with barbecue and pizza oven) and finally, just before you doze off, you see how night falls over the mountains.
