Less than half an hour from Carpentras and Venasque, the high-altitude Provençal village of Méthamis lies sheltered from the wind. This winding hamlet is located 300 meters above sea level, has 450 inhabitants, and has been surrounded by lavender fields and olive trees for centuries. It's like a Provençal postcard. On the edge of all this beauty, Tine and Stef stumbled upon a charming mansion in 2022. The couple had been coming to Provence every summer for 20 years and had grown fond of this beautiful village. That's how Le Pavadou came into being.

No frills, elegant simplicity reigns here. Matter of complementing those fabulous views from your room window. Tommetes on the floor, linen on the beds. And space, lots of space. Both inside and out. Inside you can enjoy the bar or lounge at any time of day or evening, outside there is that enchanting garden that boasts several terraces, numerous shaded areas, fantastic views of "Les Monts de Vaucluse" and that large swimming pool in the greenery. With panorama of course. Your breakfast spot depends on the weather and you enjoy local, fresh delicacies by default.

Leaving this elegant bubble anyway? That doesn't disappoint either. After all, you are at the foothills of the Mont Ventoux so cyclists have an immediate goal. Hikers dive into the Dentelles de Montmirail because this mountain range has a host of hiking trails and viewpoints. Don't forget to explore the local markets, picture postcard villages and wine estates. Living like God in France? Check!
