In beautiful, green Achel, about 5 km from the Dutch border and right on the cycle route network, stands an old engineer's house dating from 1920. It's a building that immediately catches the eye. Greet and Fritz also fell head over heels for its authentic charm. They soon discovered, however, that this charm offensive concealed a few flaws. So they rolled up their sleeves and set about renovating the entire house themselves, from the basement to the roof trusses, from the façade to the garden. Les Agnelets holiday home is the beautiful result of all that blood, sweat, and hours of hard work. The authentic style that initially charmed them has been neatly preserved, but the whole has been given a welcome injection of comfort. Carefree enjoyment, in other words. In the living room with its gas fireplace, in the comfy armchair, in the brand-new kitchen overlooking the garden, or in one of the beautifully decorated bedrooms. The southwest-facing garden also features a sun terrace where you can warm up in the wood-fired hot tub or take a shower under the outdoor shower.
