So it should come as no surprise that Julie and Frederik, two proud residents of Damme, opened a brand-new vacation home right on the banks of the Damse Vaart. Maison Héromie, named after their adorable daughters Héloïse and Romanie, offers a view of this Damme monument, and from the cozy living room, you can even see the Lamme Goedzak gently sailing by. The sound of water lapping is everywhere, whether you are enjoying the warm living room or the cozy walled terrace. What's more, you'll find yourself in the heart of this white village, close to all kinds of great places to visit. These locals know exactly where to go and will enthusiastically point you in the right direction. Cruising to Sluis on a Vespa, having breakfast with the neighbors, or tasting wine a little further afield, the couple are happy to share their secret address book. The bright white bedrooms feature authentic beamed ceilings, and the master bedroom has a fabulous en-suite bathroom. Or bathe with a view of the trusses. Bringing your baby?
