There is no better place to immerse yourself in authentic village life than a rectory. And as luck would have it, Pastorie Liezele has just been completely renovated. It is located in Liezele, a borough of Puurs-Sint-Amands. In other words, right in the heart of Scheldeland. Or endless cycling along winding waterways and straight canals. And as it should be, this rectory stands proudly in front of the church and next to the old town hall. A picture-perfect setting.

The facade and numerous authentic elements were neatly preserved and thanks to the ingenious renovation, they get back the attention they deserve making this 5-star vacation home for 4 feel very contemporary. Many fine gadgets and beautiful materials complete the feeling of luxury. The 2 bedrooms each have their own bathroom, on the ground floor you can work in the office and all rooms were decorated with great taste.

Despite all these assets, it is still the walled city garden that runs with all the attention. Thanks to that spacious terrace and the covered sitting pitcomplete with iconic designer fireplace. You never did a fire so stylishly before. And there is more good news, less than 200 meters away you will find bread, spreads, fruit, vegetables, sushi and a pharmacy. And not a kilometer further you dive into the landscape park Fort Liezele. On foot or by bike (you can leave your bikes in the bike shed). And afterwards aperitif by the outdoor fireplace?
