Petrus Wittebrood Hoeve Nieuw

About this place

Welcome to the Petrus Wittebrood Hoeve, a place you’re sure to remember. This more than 350-year-old square farmhouse lies at the foot of the Flemish Ardennes and the Zwalm region and is surrounded by sunken lanes, rolling meadows, streams, and forests. A centuries-old setting, blended with modern comfort and luxury. In 2003, the south wing was converted into a luxury vacation home, and in 2016, the property underwent a complete renovation, with respect for its history.

In the spacious and bright living room, gather around the long table for a leisurely dinner or an evening of board games. Afterward, sink into the leather and wicker armchairs or settle in with a book by the wood-burning stove. Adjacent to the living room and fully equipped kitchen is a covered terrace where you can relax almost year-round. Or would you rather head out into the 1,500 m² private garden for a game of petanque, a push on the swing, or a visit to the donkeys and sheep grazing in the meadow?

This 7-hectare estate not only boasts a lush garden with a fantastic view of the Munkbosbeek Valley, but also features a river and a forest. And in that private forest, you can take a 1-kilometer stroll all the way to the Munkbosbeek. Perfect for unforgettable adventures. And there’s more: nearby, you can enjoy endless walking and biking trips to villages like Dikkele, Roborst, and Mater. Ghent is 20 km away, while Antwerp, Bruges, Brussels, and Lille are less than an hour’s drive. You can easily park your car in the private parking lot. Chances are you won’t need it for the entire stay.

We ❤️ the blend of timeless charm and modern luxury
