Bruges is a magnet for foreign tourists. Its overwhelming medieval splendor dominates everything. We Belgians also know that the green belt around Bruges is particularly charming. And that from here, you can quickly cycle to the heart of the World Heritage city, Damme, or the beach. The beautiful authentic polder house at Pijpeweg 71 is the perfect base for this. It has two sitting areas, both with fireplaces. In one lounge you can read with a view of the garden, in the beige sitting area you can watch TV.

In the expansive garden pops up the brand new heated outdoor pool where you can enjoy it extensively from late April to late September. Complete with outdoor shower and lounging area with blissful seats. Just a matter of sneaking a little nap in between all the splashing. Or would you rather install yourself on the terrace to watch all that splashing from a safe distance?

The hayloft of this former polder house was partially opened up to let in extra light and houses 3 elegant bedrooms, the new addition provides even more light and luxury and counts 2 beautiful family rooms. The house has been lovingly restored over the years with reclaimed materials without erasing the traces of the past. The beams were given a lick of paint, broken windows were replaced by antique monastery windows and the authentic floors stood the test of time. In short, a hidden gem that resembles a gnome's house. One where every detail is right, bathed in light and surrounded by a sea of green.
