About this place
It was written in the stars that Playa Playa would be a success. After all, its founders, Ester and Bob, run Goûts & Couleurs, Bruges' most beautiful concept store. They are a couple with impeccable taste. So when they discovered this old-school coastal villa, just 300 meters from the beach and the Hoge Blekker, they immediately saw its potential. Even before they pushed open the entrance gate and stepped into the enclosed garden. Ester worked her magic, Bob rolled up his sleeves, and the property was completely renovated without losing any of its charm. The original frame was mixed with contemporary design. And that was topped off with light and interspersed with elegant vistas. Together and yet apart. Quality furniture forms the backbone, with the delightful sofa from Hay, upholstered in super-soft leather, playing the leading role. The dining room and kitchen are just as beautiful, and everywhere you look you spot the cutest gadgets and funniest design touches. There are also plenty of cozy corners, both inside and outside, with an outdoorfireplace on the terrace and soon a fireplacein the living room, so you can lounge in the shoulder seasons too.
