Whenever Veerle goes looking for a new property, she scours the wider region around Malaga with a critical eye. Her requirements are strict: every place must be no more than half an hour from the sea, have a private swimming pool, and be surrounded by lush nature. Yet time and again, she succeeds in finding such hidden gems. She enthusiastically accepts the fact that they then need to be completely renovated.

And so Villa Corumbela was born, a luxury boutique villa in the green mountains of Andalusia, offering enchanting views that stretch all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. Nearby, the white village of the same name awaits, glistening in the sun. That is, if you have an eye for it, because there is so much to see here. Every corner has been carefully thought out, so you will constantly make new discoveries, both inside and outside. Soft Moorish curves have been mixed with contemporary design, and winding garden paths take you from one blissful spot to another. From a lunch spot in the shade to a sun-drenched pool terrace to a hidden rocking chair with a sea view under the oak tree, or why not settle down on that sofa with a view? The villa is also winter-proof, with heating, a fireplace, and board games. Perfect for cozy winter evenings.

There are 3 bedrooms, one with extra sleeping space for 2 children and 2 bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. Space abounds so you can retreat in peace. Reading a book, taking a little siesta or catching those magnificent sunsets, there seems to be a place designed for every moment. And even more good news, in this privileged location, the sun shines just a little bit longer. Compared to villas in the neighborhood, you can enjoy the sun's beneficial rays 2 hours longer. So take advantage at the pool until the last moment. And then play some ping-pong and tomorrow take the chairs to the beach to enjoy that lovely, sultry summer evening back home?
