Less than 10 km from the medina of Essaouira and several surfing beaches, you’ll find Villa Dar Maha, an authentic, charming retreat surrounded by tranquility and a lush garden. The house is large enough to accommodate 12 guests and has 5 bedrooms, with the master suite featuring an additional room with 2 single beds. Each room also has its own bathroom. You can even shower outdoors by the heated pool—a great way to start your day off right.

The entire place boasts countless nooks where you can retreat for some peace and quiet or enjoy time with the whole gang. Inside, you’ll find a contemporary dining area, but outside, under the covered patio, you can also enjoy an elegant breakfast, lunch, or dinner—not to mention the many additional patios. The living area, with its impressive fireplace, is also spacious enough for everyone to enjoy together. Outside, you have just as many options. Relax in one of the iconic butterfly chairs, take a nap under the argan tree, soak up the morning sun on a stool, laze around by the pool, or enjoy an aperitif in one of the many cozy nooks. And whatever you do, the birds always provide the perfect soundtrack.

There are two barbecues, a petanque court, and after a wonderful day of surfing, a homemade meal is always waiting for you. It’s a real treat. How about a massage to top it off? No problem—we’ll arrange that for you right away. Now all that’s left is to decide who sleeps where. And even that’s a breeze, because every room is a gem with its own unique character.
