This has led to a centuries-old yew tree, a kiwi tree, and a fig tree. There are plenty of terraces to enjoy both the Saturday carillon concert and the unexpected greenery. Because, sitting on the elevated terrace, the city suddenly seems very far away. It is no coincidence that this vacation home has plenty of space. About 30 years ago, it was a shop with a sewing workshop. Recently, the entire building was thoroughly renovated and equipped with every comfort. From a gas fireplace to home automation and underfloor heating. Not to mention the convenient parking and bicycle storage. The comfort upgrade was followed by a style update. This included a designer kitchen, air conditioning in the three bedrooms, and extra-long box springs, as well as striking wallpaper, attractive tile accents, and, of course, a photo of Ernest. The great-grandfather of Carmen, the lady of the house, and the man who had this property built. His life story is one of perseverance and inspired his great-granddaughter to breathe new life into the family home. And the rest is history...
