We’re taking you to Sicily, because there, right across from the Baroque town of Noto—which, not coincidentally, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site—you’ll find this sleek Villa Talè Kà. In Old Sicilian, that means something like “Look at this,” and that’s exactly what you’ll be doing here. Huge windows let you fully enjoy that spectacular landscape of rolling wine valleys and gnarled olive groves, with the sea and the island’s southeasternmost point on the horizon. One moment you’re looking out over the large 14-meter-long pool, the next you’re relaxing in the outdoor lounge, with the wild natural beauty seemingly framing all that splendor at every turn. The property spans 3 hectares, and with 150 m² of terraces at your disposal, you have plenty of space to fully immerse yourself in the landscape.

So it’s no surprise that Christel and Thierry fell head over heels in love with this part of Sicily a few years ago. The region’s rich history, the authentic connections with the locals, and their wonderful way of life ultimately led to this designer villa, which they had built in 2020. It features 4 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a lovely living area with an open kitchen. Everything you could possibly need is there, from the latest SMEG appliances and an American-style refrigerator to beach towels.

So there’s plenty of reason to just relax, but at the same time, you’ll naturally want to explore all the beauty around you. And that’s easy to do. You can reach the center of Noto in less than 5 minutes, the slightly larger town of Avola is less than 10 minutes away, and numerous charming and picturesque towns (think Rosolini, Modica, and Ragusa) are just a half-hour drive away. Strolling around during the day with a gelato in hand, popping into one of the 300 churches in car-free Noto, enjoying a truly delicious lunch, and then relaxing in your villa—it’s all possible.
