Just across the language border and a stone's throw from the French border lies Ferme Baliolo. Once a dilapidated square farmhouse, it has recently been lovingly and patiently restored by Stéphanie and Sébastien, with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, of course. Many original features have been preserved, such as the old beams, which have been sandblasted, allowing the place to retain its soul.

You are staying in the Walloon countryside, overlooking the fields and yet barely 10 minutes from Tournai. Kortrijk is 20 minutes away and if you want to go to the lively Lille, it's a half hour drive. And once back home, you are truly at home with space and comfort in abundance. The 7,000 m² garden has 2 terraces, the living room has a billiard table and bar and the kitchen has both a chopping block and a refrigerator.

The couple loves travel and good food, and it shows. Their favorite destinations, Africa, Marrakech, Portofino and Provence, inspired a room each time, and there are food options galore. Sébastien is working at Boucherie Vens. The family butcher shop was founded by his grandparents and now the ^3rd generation is in charge. So of course you can easily order goodies.
