Nicolas and Marie-Catherine go about their business at their own pace. Their organic farm, Ferme de Linciaux, does not practice intensive farming; instead, they grow crops on small plots of land and raise cows, chickens, and sheep that contribute to the farm’s ecological cycle. The sheep graze in the orchard, where more than 400 plum, apple, and pear trees stand proudly, and the cows and chickens fertilize the fields. No chemicals are used anywhere.

In the walled vegetable garden, a charming cabin for two awaits, and larger groups are welcome at La Maison des Champs. Surrounded by fields and meadows. Peace and quiet are guaranteed. Or get a taste of the good life on the farm without having to roll up your sleeves yourself. You’ll stay in an authentic country house that combines characterful furniture and a rustic fireplace with a sleek, modern kitchen. Here, you can prepare the vegetables you just harvested from the vegetable garden that belongs to the house. Straight from the field, in other words.

And of course, there’s plenty of space to relax and fully enjoy the silence. The south-facing terrace is the perfect spot for that. Once you’ve recharged, you can set out on one of the many hikes. The couple has mapped out routes that let you thoroughly explore the Condroz. Your four-legged friend can happily join you, as pets are welcome. And in the evening, you can settle into the hot tub to count the stars together.
