Life goes the way it goes, regardless of the plans we make. Nathalie and Kris were busy working, she as an architect, he as a professor of economics, but when their son was born and needed care, they took a different path. And so Terre du Nord was born. A place where they live and work together with the whole family. A new base, a new nest, a new future. They converted this old farmhouse into a unique bed and breakfast with a homely, warm atmosphere where the focus is not on limitations. This is a place where everyone is welcome, with a little more space, greater safety, and increased comfort, but without patronizing. In other words, with respect for everyone's individuality. Beautiful, sustainable materials are central to this. All the ceramics are homemade; in fact, the cozy ceramics studio has eight pottery wheels. And whether you're throwing pots, diving into the swimming pond, or swinging in the hammock, everyone is embraced here. There is plenty of room to connect. With their story, Nathalie and Kris want to inspire others, make guests feel at home, and pamper them. The tranquility of the Nieuwpoort hinterland does the rest. At breakfast, you can see the sheep grazing, the centuries-old ramparts guarantee the sound of water lapping, and the yoga loft is full of good vibes.
