Vertes Feuilles Nieuw

About this place

Good food has always been a central theme in the Martens family. That's only natural when you have a grandmother who is a fantastic cook and a grandfather who is a butcher. So it was only logical that little Pascal wanted to become a chef, later working in numerous renowned Michelin-starred restaurants and even receiving an award from the king. Vertes Feuilles, located just across the language border in Pays des Collines, brings all that knowledge and history together.

This was once the vacation home of Pascal's grandparents and you can immediately see why. Located on the flank of the wooded hills of Saint-Sauveur, the property boasts a memorable vista. And from the jacuzzi you can enjoy that view of the valley in any season. Or do you prefer to settle on the panoramic terrace in the greenery, near the pond? There too you will get an instant vacation feeling. And the vegetable and herb garden make it immediately clear that you are also being pampered culinarily here.

The two renovated 1850s farmhouses unpack 6 elegant hotel rooms and a cozy breakfast room. And the wood-burning stove adds to the atmosphere in winter. The delicious breakfast buffet does the rest. With home-baked organic bread, home-smoked Scottish salmon, homemade jams and juices and a host of regional products. And of course, in the evening you'll want to enjoy that delicious seasonal menu served by this North Sea Chef. With fish from Belgian fishermen and vegetables, fruits and herbs picked à la minute in their own garden. Starting with the house aperitif based on home-picked elderflower? And then an organic wine or local beer to go with it?

We ❤️ the view of that rolling horizon
